CRAFT & PERSPECTIVE
From the darkroom
to the digital frame.
Steve Stephens’ work is rooted in the craft of residential property photography: understanding a space, noticing its details, and choosing the moment when the light brings it to life.
His career began in the days of film and darkrooms. As photography moved into the digital age, that patient, considered approach remained at the heart of his work.
This website is a home for those photographs. It brings together interiors, architecture, gardens and panoramic views from his working years, preserved as a portfolio to return to and enjoy.
“Care and attention to detail are amongst the most important factors when it comes to getting the right shots.”
